Abode Hotel - Redding

A stay to forget, definitely not worth it

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a filthy environment, both indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately, cleanliness and comfort are not on the agenda here. I left feeling thoroughly disgusted.

spacious updated room, a flat-screen tv with satellite channels, a microwave and a refrigerator were appreciated.

I would say it's great base for staying and exploring Redding. The venue has new-fashioned rooms with a huge shower, the tub, a heater and very friendly and efficient staff. The service is attentive, includes ample parking. The location is convenient, 1 mile from Turtle Bay Exploration Park.

Usual breakfast, it should be better.

comfortable basics with a few downsides

The AC kept us cool during the sweltering heat, a relief. The layout of the room facilitated good family time and was spacious enough for our need. We appreciated the accessibility of our ground floor room, made moving in and out easy, especially with children. The swimming pool was a hit with the kids, providing great entertainment and a way to escape the heat.

The area felt a bit sketchy at times.

The outdoor dining area was lovely, and the proximity to attractions like the local park and popular eateries was a great plus. The pool was a hit with the kids!

The breakfast options could use a bit more variety, particularly fresh fruits and protein choices.

The dirty carpet and roach were unsettling, but the beds were comfortable.

They were able to accommodate us on the ground floor. The AC worked well in the extreme heat. The beds were comfortable. The room had a pleasant layout, and the check-in was smooth.

The large pool was a fantastic feature for the kids. The front desk staff were cute and friendly. The room's cleanliness left much to be desired, with some dust and minor maintenance issues present. The noise from the surrounding area made it difficult to relax at night. A bit more variety in the breakfast options would have been appreciated too.
